Christmas Card Projects 2021

 Crystal Expressions mailed and/or hand delivered 867 Christmas Cards to seniors, homebound, hospitalize, nursing homes, children in foster care, teen centers, health care facilities, and to lonely and isolated people throughout the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.  450 cards were custom printed and the rest were commercially purchased. This is the second year we participated in the Angel Card Project and in 2021, we expanded and joined four other groups Bring Smiles to Seniors, Three Wishes for Ruby’s Residents, From the  Heart-UK, and Random Acts of Cardness. 

Wish Upon a Star Karly of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania

Happy Birthday to Karly of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania who is turning 16 years old.  Karly has a lot of health issues and is having a card shower.  She is receiving a Chateau de Chambord art print with birthday wishes and a blue bookmark to keep her heart light shining.

The Stars Shine for Ashlyn of Raleigh, North Carolina

Five year old Ashlyn of Raleigh, North Carolina is receiving a special encouragement card with the Chateau de Chambord art print.  She is going through chemotherapy treatments for cancer. Inside the card are sunflowers, Daisies, colorful stars, balloons and butterflies and a poem.

Hope is receiving a new design from Crystal Expressions of a metallic mermaid with a blue waves background with a starfish and a metallic crab stickers.  Hope is turning 8 years old and lives in Chaddesden Derby, England.

Happy Birthday to Vivienne of York, Pennsylvania.  She is turning 11 years old and likes makeup, girlie stuff and gymnastics.  Vivienne suffers from epilepsy and anxiety disorders.  Sending her a pink bookmark to let her dreams bloom.

Mermaid Kisses for Dale of Indiana

 A Happy Birthday card with ‘It’s a Beautiful Life’ mermaid art print for Kynleigh of Dale, Indiana.  She is turning 8 years old and likes dolls, mermaids and princesses.  Enclosed with the card are Ariel stickers. She cannot have a party due to health complications and surgery in December.

Heart of the Sea Handcrafted Mermaid Card

 

Received a Thank You from Alana of Fort Worth, Texas for all the cards she received for her birthday  from the Cards for Cool Kids Group.  She received a ‘Hello’ handcrafted “Heart of the Sea” card with Mermaid Kisses.

The Handcrafted Card has a Sisters of the Sea art print and Hello label with a blue bubbles background and a mermaid kiss sticker. The twin mermaid sisters holding hands are shaped like a heart.

A Encouragement Card for 13 year old Mya of Machesney, Illinois.  Her father died when she was 6 years old and her mom and boyfriend broke up due to drug abuse.  The boyfriend had been a father figure for Mya so she is depressed.  Grandmother requested encouragement cards.  Sending her a pink bookmark "Hold on to your dreams" and flower stickers.  She likes art so she is receiving a pencil drawing of Stella.

 A Happy Birthday to Kaydence of Bangor, Maine.  She is turning 14 years old and lives with her grandmother.  She is receiving a Chateau de Chambord Birthday card with a pink “Let yours dreams bloom” bookmark.  Inside the card is the script “The Stars they Shine for you!”   She is very special.

Peyton of New Derry, Pennsylvania is celebrating her 11th Birthday on September 13.  Peyton has OCD and is autistic with anxiety and will not have a birthday party so her mother requested Birthday Cards.  Sending her a handcrafted card with "It's a Beautiful Life" mermaid print against a ocean background.  Inside the card are stickers of The Little Mermaid Ariel.

Kind Cards for Cool Kids - Encouragement for Abbi of Alabama

 

Abbi, age 10 of Calera, Alabama is living with her grandmother due to parental abuse.  She has a low self esteem and lonely.  She loves art and drawing.  Last fall, she received a Grateful Heart journal for her daily thoughts and a creative notebook for drawing.  June 2021, she was mailed 40 artsy markers and three positive girl coloring books.
